Gen2 Folding Firebox Nano Ultralight Backpacking 3Inch Stove

The 3" Folding Firebox Nano Ultralight Backpacking Stove is the little brother to the Folding Firebox, but it is much smaller and lighter. At only 6 ounces, the Firebox Nano is 3" wide and folds down to a ridiculously thin .25". With its proprietary cross-feed fuel delivery system, this Nano stove can bring 2 cups of water to a boil in 3:10 minutes. Even with all this power, the Firebox Nano is one of the smallest wood burning stoves on the market. Like its big brother, the Firebox Nano is hinged and requires no assembly.

    Firebox 3" Nano Gen2

Posted by Terry on 17th Aug 2018

As I already had the 5" Firebox Gen2 I put off getting this smaller version for a long time. I can only say I'm really happy now I have this. Much, much lighter and smaller (you can literally carry it in your shirt pocket) yet strong enough to hold a big pot or pan. God mine with extra nano sticks and the Cordura case. Ideal for use with a Trangia or similar burner as well as wood. Brilliant.

The FireBox is the best gift for the outdoorsy types

A little heavier than the titanium version, but otherwise just as nice. The FireBox is the best gift for the outdoorsy types in your family or circle of friends.

Bit of a tip if you prefer it shiny is to use a touch of welders pickling paste to take care of the discoloration. Personally I like the patina.
